Muria. Apiarian Interpretation Center is an innovative initiative created by SAT Perelló Beekeeping Ltd. – Mel Muria, aimed at spreading the culture and heritage of the world of honey and bees.

What can you do?

Visiting the Muria Apiarian Interpretation Center is a unique experience which enables us to “Fly into a world of sensations”.

The design of spaces, shapes, smells and sounds, lighting, audio-visual arrangements… forms a privileged environment that sparks off new feelings about the exciting world of apiculture.

The tour of the facilities of the Apiarian Interpretation Centre, holding no architectural barriers, is carried out with the help of individual audio-guides, equipped with commentaries in five different languages.

Workshops

Over the last few years thousands of people, including students from schools across the country, have visited the Mel Muria facilities with the aim of participating in different educational workshops that have become so popular and encourage the discovery of a world of sensations. A visit to the hives in the middle of country side, honey-tasting, creating wax candles or making honey cakes, tasting products nuts in honey and even the production of cosmetics from bees are some of the activities available in the workshops of this Apiarian Interpretation Center.
